Born in Berkeley, California, Jane Sibbett was a shy child who loved to read, write and pretend to be someone else. After graduating from the theater program at UCLA, she debuted in a 1985 episode of Scarecrow and Mrs. King, and landed the role of Libby in the TV movie Promises to Keep.
