Dwyane Tyrone Wade Jr. is an American former professional basketball player. Wade spent most of his 16-year career playing for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and won three NBA championships in 2006, 2012, and 2013. He was also a 13-time NBA All-Star, an 8-time member of the All-NBA Team, and a 3-time member of the All-Defensive Team.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Dwyane Wade starred at Marquette University before joining the NBA's Miami Heat in 2003. Following late-career stints with the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers, Wade returned to Miami and retired in 2019 as the team's all-time leader in points, games, assists, steals, shots made, and shots taken. In 2021, Wade began hosting The Cube.
