Cobra Kai never dies! After five badass seasons, Netflix has renewed "Cobra Kai", the series continuation of the iconic "The Karate Kid" film franchise, for a sixth and final season. In an open letter to the fans, executive producers Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg share news about the series conclusion. The epic conclusion to the decades-long karate saga is coming soon to Netflix.

Netflix has renewed Cobra Kai, the series continuation of the iconic The Karate Kid film franchise, for a fifth season with production set to start in Atlanta this fall.

It’s a good day to be a Cobra Kai fan as Netflix revealed two exciting new developments for its martial arts drama. At long last, we finally have a date for when the much-anticipated third season will be available to stream, as Netflix dropped an intense teaser revealing a launch on Friday 8th January 2021. As if that wasn’t enough, Netflix has also opted to renew Cobra Kai for a fourth season, a full three months before the third has a chance to debut.

Netflix has landed Cobra Kai. Starting with its upcoming third season, YouTube’s flagship scripted series will become a Netflix original. Along with exclusive rights to Season 3 of Cobra Kai, Netflix will have access on a non-exclusive basis to the first two seasons of the show for fans to catch up. Seasons 1 and 2 of the Karate Kid sequel series, starring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, will premiere on Netflix this year, with an all-new third season to follow.

Cobra Kai is crane-kicking its way to another season: YouTube has handed a Season 3 renewal to the Karate Kid sequel series. Soon, you won’t need to pay to watch it, either: YouTube will be making all of its original series, including Cobra Kai, free to watch with ads, beginning later this year.
