What did you expect? you'd think by season 10, they'd run out of new things to do but to actually make it this far is quite something... not that the writers have something new anyway...
Did they hire scabs during the WGA strike? I know this show has never been the epitome of realism, but the writing has really gotten lazy lately. Inane, incongruous dialogue, disjointed plot points and shortcuts, totally unbelievable circumstances and reactions, characters acting contrary to established character have all proven to be major distractions. I guess they have no incentive since the show is over, but you would think they'd want to go out strong. At least it would look better on a resume. Oh well, R.I.P. Reagans... we hardly knew ye.
I read on IMDb that Season 14 continues in OCTOBER with episodes 11-18.
