Brett is one of the the five students who are stuck in Saturday detention. During this time, the school's urban legend the "School Spirit" is picking off the students one by one. He is portrayed as a goody two shoes and has a crush on fellow student Erica. Nothing is ever mentioned about his backstory until the end of the episode. In the end it is revealed that he is actually the murdering the "bad kids". His mom, who was accidentally killed by students ten years earlier is the subject of the urban legend at Helbrook and he is the one doing the actual killings. Erica, the last one standing kills Brett as he calls out for his dead mom.
