Goodbye Rent, Hello Reno

A Los Angeles couple is ready to stop paying rent and find a larger, more practical home perfect for entertaining. They both want a home with high ceilings, a big kitchen and a large space for entertaining but that's all they can agree on. She wants a modern bungalow with lots of light, white walls and a swimming pool for guests. He's hoping for a more traditional home with lots of wood features and a large back yard. When they finally get the keys to their new house, they bring in an interior designer and contractor to help tackle multiple projects and deal with issues from expensive electrical problems to back-ordered materials. Their spirits are high, though, and they eventually get the party house of their dreams.
