Late Episode Changes note
This episode broadcast live as part of EastEnders 40th anniversary on the air. A viewer vote opened at the end of the previous nights episode with two polls for viewers to vote on for plot points to be incorporated into the episode based on the viewer votes.
The first heavily publicised viewer vote was for which partner Denise would end up with Jack or Ravi.
The second vote was announced prior to the episode the night before airing and was for the viewers at home to decide whether Sonia's baby that she is going to give birth to should be called Julia or Toni.
