The 2nd annual Quick Lane Bowl is being broadcast today live from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. The Central Michigan Chippewas (7-5) take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers (5-7*).
*The NCAA rule requires a team to have a minimum of 6 wins to play in any Bowl game however since there were not enough bowl-eligible teams at the end of the regular season, 5–7 Nebraska was given a spot in this bowl because of its high Academic Progress Rate.
