FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace is a Sunday evening news/talk show on the Fox Broadcasting Company; since 2003, Fox News Sunday has been hosted byChris Wallace. It is the only regularly scheduled news program on the Fox network. The program began on April 28, 1996, 5½ half months prior to the launch of the network's sister cable news network Fox News Channel, and was hosted by Tony Snowuntil 2003 (after leaving Fox News that year, Snow was later appointed White House Press Secretary under now-former President George W. Bush). It airs live at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time (although many Fox stations broadcast it at a later timeslot), and is subsequently rebroadcast Sunday afternoons on Fox News Channel at 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. ET (the latter airing in the slot typically occupied by Special Report with Bret Baier on weekdays). An audio-only broadcast of the program is also carried on a small but growing number of radio stations, mostly those owned by iHeartMedia (the former Clear Channel Communications), the largest radio station group that runs the division's Fox News Radio newscasts. In August 2008, Fox News Sunday began to be produced in high definition.
