O'Donnell served with Reacher in 110th – the Army's unit of Special Investigators. A funny, physically fit wise-ass, O'Donnell is like a brother to Reacher. Since leaving the Army he went to law school at Rutgers, got married and had three children – a huge departure from his wild younger days.
