Daria was a student at Highland School District with Beavis and Butt - Head. The three of them eventually became friends. Unfortunately, Daria's family wanted to move to an even more prestigious suburb which Daria never fully recovered from. She finds everybody to be painfully shallow. She has only a few friends that she keeps distant from her, including: Jane, Andrea, and Jodie. Her three friends also have problems with Lawndale for various reasons. Despite going out of her way to seem unlikeable, she is highly popular. However, The Fashion Club will never admit that, with Quinn saying that Daria is simply a guest in her house. There is one exception where Daria reluctantly helped Sandy cope with a bizarre death where Sandy eventually thanked Daria. Despite being furious at Lawndale, she is still able to get good grades, and occasionally changes her hair and clothing. Her bedroom resembles a dungeon since she hates Lawndale so much. She eventually is accepted to college.
