Ms. Li is a very ambitious principal of Lawndale High which she says its name slowly and in a trance. She also mentions in a similar speech pattern the unnamed Superintendent Of Schools as she wants a promotion. She has been in trouble with Helen as she illegally used and altered Daria and Jane's painting for the benefit of the school, not the students. She will not hesitate to commercialize the school with Ultra Cola themed school supplies, murals, and vending machines which she forces everybody to use. She regularly consults with the school Economics teacher for budget advice.
