Dr Kadinsky is Brokenwood's pathologist. An immigrant from Russia (Vladivostok), she's been in New Zealand for 10 years.
She's highly professional, wry and attractive without effort. As with many Russians her demeanor can seem bleak and fatalistic. She's just a realist with a black sense of humour.
She's grown to like Mike. He may be relaxed and she may not always get his jokes but she certainly appreciates his lateral thinking.
