Agree w DPh2902. It has enough 'real' people, places, events sort of intertwined but then goes fiction. Like the '73 Pekinpah film - call it a "Revisionist Western." I stopped watching a third of the way in on ep4, then watched the season finale. I'm ok with that and won't be back for a season 2. (Living in that area of the SW for years made it hard to watch)
My curiosity was raised after watching the first two episodes. Turns out from many sources that this is pretty much 90% fictional up to this point anyway. Still evaluating the series as to if it is actually worth watching but definitely not to be looked at as anything specifically truthful about Billy the Kid.
