In the opener, the establishment has been remodeled, and on reopening night it is visited by Lucinda Tremayne, a restaurant critic who appearsto take more than a professional interest in Jack; Kathryn and George are childhood sweethearts who keep their pledge to rendezvous 20 years later, and Jules Philpott, a claustrophobic paleontologist, is locked in the back room.
