It's been confirmed that "Yellowstone" will end with its fifth season and Paramount is plotting a follow-up series from Taylor Sheridan. Paramount has announced that the Kevin Costner-fronted "Yellowstone" will wrap its run with the upcoming second half of Season 5, which is set to premiere in November. It will be followed by an untitled Matthew McConaughey-led sequel which has received a straight-to-series order for a December debut on Paramount Network and then on Paramount+.

Say it ain't so Joe, Say it ain't so.
Good decision....It will end untarnished by the greed of the producers ...Too often you see shows milking their audience for every last drop until a beloved show becomes unrecognisable and detested..A show should always end with a viewership greater or equal to what it started with...
It had at LEAST two more good seasons in it! Perhaps even 5 more.
I have mixed feelings about this. I thought the show had much more stories to tell and I was hoping for more seasons. But its future started to seem uncertain lately given the recent Kevin Costner's disagreements over shooting schedules and Kevin Costner's wife filing for divorce. At least this way we'll get to see the story end properly and we won't find ourselves before an unexpected and unwanted cancellation. Let's just hope for an epic conclusion to this epic show.
