Jungle Goddess Recap

Joel, Tom, and Servo play hide-and-seek with the cosmic force of the universe. In the invention exchange, Joel presents an RC circular saw and manages to cut a hole in the floor beneath him. Frank presents "Doctor Sax": Clayton's head placed in the bell of a baritone saxophone so that he can wail when played.

The show begins with a short, chapter one of The Phantom Creeps. Bela Lugo plays a scientist, Doctor Zorka, who develops both a crawling exploding spider that moves to homing devices and an invisibility belt. He's very versatile. Other than Lugosi, Phantom has all the excitement of Radar Men from the Moon."

In the feature movie, Jungle Goddess, two bush pilots decide to rescue a downed millionaire's daughter. As you can guess from the title, the daughter has established herself as a goddess with a nearby tribe. Now the tribesmen won't let her go, and the pilots and the daughter have to come up with a scheme to get her away without getting killed. Said scheme involves a lot of walking past stock footage of jungle animals.

-----

At the first break, Joel does an infomercial show called Bela's Okay Discoveries, touting the virtues of the exploding spider as a stain-removing device.

-----

Joel presents Cambot's "gobos" to demonstrate "views" like the "Binocular View" in the movie. His include Small Intestine View and Glaucoma View. The Bots suspect that Joel is just making things up.

-----

Two imperialistic aliens arrive outside the Satellite of Love and threaten to shoot everything in sight if their demands aren't met. One of the aliens is willing to shoot everything in sight anyway.

-----

Joel and the Bots present a The Honeymooners style skit called My Jungle Goddess and then read a letter from a fan. Frank repeats everything Clayton says, in a really annoying voice.
