"Uncoupled" Season 2 Not Going Forward at Showtime After Netflix Cancellation

"Uncoupled" is not getting saved after all. Showtime has decided not to proceed with Season 2 of the comedy series, from "Emily in Paris" creator Darren Star and "Modern Family" veteran Jeffrey Richman. The reversal comes a little over a year after Showtime stepped in to pick up the MTV Entertainment Studios-produced "Uncoupled" following its cancellation by Netflix after one season.

Netflix Cancels "Uncoupled" After One Season

"Uncoupled" has been canceled at Netflix after airing just one season. The comedy series from creators Darren Star and Jeffrey Richman dropped its eight-episode first season on the streaming service on July 29, 2022. The series starred Neil Patrick Harris as Michael Lawson. "Uncoupled" received solid reviews upon its release, with the first season holding a 73% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes but failed to make a significant viewership impact.
