Proto

Proto was a maintenance worker for the Tachikomas. Eventually, he got promoted to be The Chief's personal assistant and body guard. He was also assigned to protect The Prime Minister as well. In Solid State Society he joins the team on the field. He still communicates with The Tachikomas also. Proto is a Bioroid which was not revealed until he got wounded one time. His personality is not much different from an Operator, yet is supposed to pass as a Human ... of which most of the humans have at least a telecommunications device implanted in them.
