Gōda, Kazundo

Gōda, Kazundo is a Representative Aide for the Strategic Influence Research Committee at the Cabinet Intellligence Service. He is also in charge of the Data Manipulation Division. A valued Scientist and Engineer, he was recruited and given Autonomy by Chief Cabinet Secretary Takakura as a result of manufacturing The Japanese Miracle. These are a type of Micro Machines that have the ability to clean up pollution including radiation. It was Takakura's goal to utilize Kazundo's invention to form an alliance with The American Empire. The American Empire would be able to run amok and cause all kinds of Refugee problems with Japan being placed at a slight advantage since they have Kazundo's Miracle. Unfortunatly, not even Takakura is aware that Kazundo is a spy for The American Empire and can sell access to his formula. Kazundo has had low self esteem his entire life, and manipulates people as if they are playing a video game. Since The American Empire has attempted to split apart other countries, they enjoyed the possibility of that happening to Japan again. Hideo intends to take over Dejima, which has a centuries old history of Refugees, and other Prisioners Of War. However, the result of giving Dejima complete Sovereignty would result in a once again divided Japan, which did not sit well with its citizens. Furthermore, most of Dejima's population is of Russian lineage. When Kazundo noticed that Hideo survived a virus attack, and learned of Hideo's plans, Kazundo used what authority he had to make it extremely easy for Hideo to attempt to gain control of Dejima. Meanwhile, Kazundo views Hideo as dispensable, and is glad to take all the credit for Hideo's efforts. Kazundo is the exact opposite of Hideo, including physical appearance. While Hideo has a Statuesque body, Kazundo is a badly constructed cyborg. Kazundo has an interest in Print Media. He also stalks people he does not like and kills them. Even when he him self was blasted to smithereens, his fellow American Empire soldiers found a handcuffed Hideo in The Major's helicopter, injected him with Modified Micro Machines, threw Hideo out of the helicopter, and put him to death.
