Edna Cranebear

Edna is the perfect combination of sweet and salty. Her hugs are as big as her heart, and she's an incredible cook and baker but likes things done her way, and is the first to tell you so. Edna manages Sully's Outpost and keeps things organized while keeping Sully in check. She is Frank's soulmate. She loves the fact that Sully and Frank are so close but can't help but occasionally feel like a third wheel. Edna and Frank were two lost wanderers when they found each other, each having survived their own painful past. Edna is Metis, and comes from a different cultural background from Frank with distinct traditions and life experiences. Sullivan's Crossing became the home and family they both always dreamed of, a place where they found happiness. Edna was like a second mother to Maggie, and it broke her heart when Phoebe and Maggie moved to Boston. Edna has worked hard to make Sullivans' Crossing a home but lately she has been getting restless having put her dreams of travelling the world on hold. Edna has always been proud of Maggie's accomplishments but events at the Crossing as well as Maggie's return cause Edna to re-evaluate her life.
