Captain Yurika Misumaru is the chief commanding officer of Nadesco, a massive battle ship. This ship has multiple sections. The two sections at the very front are meant for numerous weapons as well as cargo holds for the mecha and other shuttle crafts. Its propulsion systems are either modest or are governed to be intentionally slow while travelling in side a star system. The typical unaided estimated arrival time between Earth and Mars is an entire month. This ship also has perfect defensive capabilities and is heavily shielded. It is a large ship that is privately owned by The Nergal Company. Yurika has to answer to her ship's accountant, chief of security, and chief tactical officer since they are executives at Nergal. Yurika also has to deal with her father who is a high ranking official in Earth's Military Forces. She is told that as Captain, she is limited to diplomatic assignments yet is expected to save the day any ways. She is astonishingly good at both. Aside from Yurika's love interest with Akito, she refuses to let any negative energy get to her. She chooses to meditate some times. Other times she rewords other people's insults as reverse psychology of her own, and is motivated by them. One example is when a rival girl tells her intentions regarding Akito, Yurika changes the subject to winning the interplanetary war instead.
