Kanga is a plush toy character, and uniquely one half of the only paired plush toy character. The other part of the plush toy character is her son, Roo, or Joey. Typical in stories and animation, she has a visible pouch which is supposed to be a giant pocket. She is an herbalist. It is unknown who could possibly be Roo's father. However, since they live near a Sandy Pit, he could have built it as a quarry foreman. Despite being a paired plush toy, she is not above extending her family. Tigger, who has yet to see another that could be his family, and does not even recall his birthday, is officially adopted by Kanga. However, he usually referred to her as Misses Kanga, Ma'am. When Tigger stays over, he shares the same mattress at the same time with his brother. When they spend time together, they regress to very bad habits and getting in to trouble. Kanga is the wisest of any other character since she has solutions to problems that other characters are unable to figure out. She is able to heal practically any illness. Also, she taught her children how to bathe properly and that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Consider your selves warned that she has a very wicked sense of humor which she includes in her discipline. She is aware that Tigger and Roo escaped and tried to convince her that Piglet is Roo. She played along with their joke. Winnie, who has a sense of humor of his own, returned to check on Piglet. Winnie ended up joining in on the joke, which Piglet ended up being taught a lesson in the process. In Un-Valentine's Day Kanga played the part of Winnie's date. Kanga is also able to catch objects before they get blown away in the wind.
