Born in Shropshire, England, Lee has been a driving force in the British alternative comedy scene since the late 1980s. As well as stand-up comedy, Lee is also known for being one half of the 90s TV comedy duo 'Lee and Herring' and for co-writing the satirical, and controversially received opera 'Jerry Springer: The Musical'. Lee is still active on the stand-up circuit and has a stand-up/sketch show on BBC Two.
