Dressing like a 1950s screen siren, Shirley is all woman, sexy as hell and not afraid to use her feminine wiles. Having left her husband Colin and all the security that he brought – Shirley is looking forward to forging a new life with Johnny and their premature baby Ben. Season two sees Shirley working as a hostess at The Blue Moon to support the specialised needs of her baby, whilst eagerly awaiting Johnny's return from Vietnam.
