Dr. Anne Macy

Anna works as a haematologist in a North London hospital. She works predominately amongst men in her chosen field and deals comfortably with any piercing scrutiny from her male bosses. She is resourceful, self-sufficient and highly competitive and won't stop at a problem until she finds a solution or is proven right. She abhors feeling vulnerable or dependent, preferring to work things out for herself. This makes Anna hard to get close to but that's how she prefers it – because Anna has a dark and troubling secret she is desperate to keep to herself.
