Marla Hendricks

Ms. Hendricks is a teacher that has taught multiple subjects, but has forgotten how to teach Math. She wrote a suicide note in her Remedial Outreach classroom, and was on medication which caused her sterility. She is assigned to monitor Harvey. Eventually and only after Lauren left Boston Public, Marla finally became Department Head. She brought order to the school numerous times beginning with lecturing until they found a dangerous student. During this time, she intercepted a telephone conversation with a bratty student by telling her mother that: "Cell. Phones. Cause. Cancer." and then returning the telephone to the student and informing the student that the angry parent: "Is Crazy.". She continued to lecture and provide seminars that calmed the school down whether it is students, workers, parents, and the school board. Marla is a member of Soul Bands such as with Marilyn and Louisa. They brought much success to Boston Public. Marla's dating situations are always bizarre. One time she united a Widower with his son. When she was unable to have any children due to the medication, she took in a homeless student that slowly acclimated to her new life. She would adopt children some time after, but Boston Public was canceled.
