Freddy Krueger was a child molester/killer who terrorised the town of Springwood until his arrest. Unfortunately, a technicality set him free. Enraged, the parents took justice into their own hands. They hunted down Krueger and burned him alive. The nightmare appeared to be over. Little did anyone know it had just begun. Krueger resurrected in the dreams of the children and took his revenge. With every kill and soul he takes, he seems to only grow more powerful and none of the many attempts to destroy him have succeeded.
