Adam and Xue Ling's elder son, is in first year of Junior College. He is mature, level-headed and has a very good relationship with his father; they're more like best friends or brothers than father and son. Adam sometimes takes advice from him. But Michael tends to take life far too seriously – it takes his annoying uncle Eddie and new friend Shruti to help him loosen up.
