is a mysterious drifter who shows up one day at Tanglin Coffee House. He's a superb cook, well-travelled and enjoys hanging out at the Tongs', much to the puzzlement and suspicion of the overprotective Diana Tong. He's immersed himself in their lives and reveals nothing about his own past or family, he's seemingly content to just hide out at the Tongs, taking it one day at a time.
