A good guy cop who is also a bit of a player, he helps Angie out with cases because he sees P.I.s as useful to the force. Mazhari believes that P.I.s can do some real good supporting law enforcement and helping victims of crime in ways that the police are not able to. But there's a not-too-carefully hidden motive too. Mazhari has known Angie since they were kids (he was inspired by her dad to join the force) and has held a torch for her ever since.
