Noelle is desperate to find a good man but is caught in a vicious cycle of dating bad boys that she just can't seem to break. She grew up in a broken home and her relationship with her parents has had a huge impact on her. Noelle's parents divorced when she was a baby and her father was barely a part of her life. She believes the reason she always dates men who are emotionally unavailable is because her dad was never there for her.
To make matters worse, Noelle recently suffered the loss of her brother to a tragic car accident and has lived at home with her mother Suzan ever since. She feels that she needs to stay close by her mother's side but is finding it difficult to spread her wings and move on with her life.
