Career waiter Dom - a mainstay at Zuni on San Francisco's Market Street - is anxious to move into the next phase of his life: that of a restaurant owner. After a successfully putting on a pop-up dining night, he's eyeing a more permanent outpost for his culinary speciality. With Lynn at his side romantically, Dom lives with his fellow Modesto native and oldest friend Doris.
