Prefect Gul Legate Dukat led the charge against Bajor and constructed the space stations to blow up should they be commandeered by The Bajorans. The mother of Kira Nerys is one of the many Mistresses of Gul Dukat, forging a Stepfather - Stepdaughter relationship. He has a Bajoran child that Nerys raised for him. Dukat is proud and arrogant, yet diplomatic. He often downplays his torture of Bajorans by saying that The Cardassians had waged war against Bajorans before he was even born. He provided endless trivial examples of moments where he was kind to Bajorans. He wants approval for his decisions or suffer the consequences. However, he has laughed with Kira, and cried when his other daughter was killed in battle. This resulted in Dukat becoming totally insane. Eventually, Dukat lost his life and was absorbed by a demon.
