Ro Laren

Ro Laren is a Bajoran who regrets joining Star Fleet. They used her for a suspicious assignment by a corrupt Admiral multiple times. There was one time that she made a decision that cost her the lives of her away team. She did not defend her self at the court martial. Guinan immediately sensed that she was in trouble again and offered to help. They remained friends after that, helping Ro Laren relive her childhood. She is trapped with Geordi by a phased cloaking device. Geordi did not appreciate being "a blind ghost with clothes" and told her to not give up so easily. Keiko is also impressed by Laren's gardening abilities. Ro Laren has had enough and decided to join The Maquis and eventually The Bajoran Militia, but this was not revisited. Michelle Forbes tuned down any further roles. Ro Laren was supposed to be the ship's Navigator, one of many that tried to replace Wesley. Laren and Deanna can not stand each other.
