InuYasha

InuYasha, (which translates to "Supernatural Dog - Like Creature" commonly referred to as "Demon"), is a Hanyō ("Hybrid", or in this case: "Mutt") whose mother Izayoi is a Japanese Human, while his father Tōga is a Yōkai (synonymous of Yasha) that was Emperor Of The West until being slain in battle. InuYasha is now orphaned with only an estranged stepmother and her son. The family must overcome personal obstacles in order to work together to reclaim their former Empire. During their defeat, an evil warrior Naraku stole InuYasha's identity and attempted to kill his lover Kikyō who responded by attempting to kill the real InuYasha. He was placed in suspension for many years, waking to find that Kikyō is deceased and only partially reincarnated as a bitter zombie. Much of her spiritual powers was passed down to Kagome Higurashi whose family also inherits the ancient artifacts and built a Shrine around The Tree Of Ages and the nearby Bone Eater's Well which are used to transport through Parallel Time. Kagome, now a Priestess, is in charge of keeping InuYasha leashed, by saying Osuwari ("Sit"). She eventually fell in love with InuYasha, who is still broken over losing Kikyō. Eventually, Kagome had enough, and added Baka ("Unacceptable / Dunce") as a secondary command. Being a Supernatural, InuYahsha is many times the age of Kagome yet ages so slowly, that they are otherwise a similar age, roughly five years older than Kagome in both personality and appearance. Among his Armour is The Robe Of The Fire Rat, which he forges another for his daughter, a powerful sword Tessaiga, and even InuYasha's own claws. InuYasha gets mauled frequently, particularly in his abdomen, and can eventually regenerate as if nothing ever happened to him. Among his friends are: Buyo, a House Cat, that InuYasha is quite rough with; and bitter rival Kōga. Despite InuYasha grieving over Kikyō, he must not alienate Kagome lest she be courted by the very passionate Kōga. The two frequently quarrel over her. InuYasha goes to Modern Tokyo numerous times and adjusts easily, meeting Kagome's other friends who are delighted to get to know him. InuYasha and Kagome get married immediately after she graduated and spent their time in InuYasha's World. Decades later, they had their daughter, who was sent away to live with Kōga while Sesshōmaru sends InuYasha and Kagome to pay their respects to their ancestor in Tōga's Realm, being watched by Sesshōmaru's Mother, as Sesshōmaru was unsure if Kiranmaru considered InuYasha a threat.
