Kagome Higurashi

Kagome Higurashi (whose name is derived from "Bird Flying Toward The Sunset") resides on a generational Shrine guarding The Tree Of Ages and The Bone Eater's Well with her brother, mother, grandfather, and Buyo. Kagome lost her father and one of her grandmothers from the same incident and stayed at the shrine ever since then. A portal is opened to another Realm that exists in Parallel Time. Time elapses equally which means she risks being absent at school. If she does not go to the other Realm, immense monsters run amok in both Realms. When travelling to the other Realm, she encounters InuYasha, who has been Suspended in The Tree Of Ages. InuYasha is awakened and eventually freed and will not listen to reason. Kagome recognized as the heir of Kikyō's title and is ordained as a Priestess. She is quickly given her first assignment to leash InuYasha with the command Osuwari ("Sit") which she needs (or feels the need) to use often. Disgruntled with having to work with InuYasha, she also adds a secondary command of "Baka" ("Bad") to her powers. She also learns archery and is desired by Kōga, which annoys InuYasha. Her three friends Ayumi, Eri, and Yuka believe InuYasha to be be Bad News until they finally meet him, of which they get along perfectly. Kagome's family is very supportive and very welcoming of InuYasha, and give their blessings when the two get married. Not long after she graduated, she decided to live in InuYasha's World and had a daughter together. Moroha is sent away to live with Kōga during a time of war while Jaken, Sesshōmaru, and His Mother sent InuYasha,  and Kagome to Tōga's Realm since they were unsure if Kirinmaru intended to go after them.
