Even for a veteran contractor like Bryan, knocking down a house is not as straightforward as it appears. Small delays add up big time – from miscalculating the total amount of waste removal, to obtaining proper building permits. All create extra demands on Bryan who is struggling to get the house's concrete footings into the ground, a vital first step. At the same time, Bryan is mentoring a new apprentice and struggling to keep his wife Sarah's lofty housing ambitions to a minimum.
