Episode Discussion

Goofs...

Jackson and Nem refer to Omoroca being on Earth 4,000 years ago, and Jackson mentions that she didn't fail in her task because she helped inspire the eventual Tau'ri Rebellion against the Goa'uld. However, the Tau'ri rebelled and buried their Stargate around 3,000 B.C., or 5,000 years before Jackson met Nem.

Goofs...

During Jackson's wake, Colonel Jack O'Neill plays hockey and flips out. While talking with Major General George S. Hammond, O'Neill is handling a hockey stick with "Anderson" clearly handwritten on the handle.

Goofs...

At the very beginning, when the team returns, MSgt. Walter Harriman is told to call a medical team, and he says over the intercom "Medical team to the Stargate room!" when in fact the room containing the Stargate is called the Embarkation room, and is known as such throughout the entire series. However, it is still actually referred to as the 'Gate room' many times, including Dr. Daniel Jackson specifically using the name in "2010" at which point a tour guide disagreed and suggested it was actually known as the 'Embarkation room', playing on the rare use of the latter term in the series.

Gerard Plunkett (Nem) previously played Councilor Tuplo in the Stargate SG-1 episode "The Broca Divide". He is the first of many actors to portray multiple characters in the Stargate franchise.

Many of the servicemen present at Jackson's memorial service are actual United States Air Force personnel.

Dr. Daniel Jackson's journal saying he'll never get paid is a reference to the Stargate movie, where Jackson (played by James Spader) says the same thing. While Captain Samantha Carter reads it as saying "Colonel O'Neill thinks I'm a geek", the journal shown in fact says "Colonel O'Neill despises me." All writing shown other than what is read by Samantha Carter appears to be a description of the Royal Game of Ur.
