In Sandusky, Ohio, Anthony is called to Maui Sands, a 300-room hotel with an indoor water park, bar, restaurant. It's December but the hotel is all but empty. Anthony sees a rusty pole and unpainted plywood under the rafters that appear to be rotting out. He runs in and tries out the slides, and discovers that the room is freezing.
