After colleague Paaltjes' boasting about his town's modernity, for one in traffic infrastructure, the mayor is determined to make his own catch up. So Van Leemhuizen is instructed to buy and install on the town square second-hand traffic lights while the mayor calls Paaltjes to show them off.
