Höhenangst - Winterspecial

It should have been a relaxed Sunday for Martin Gruber. Until he meets Lisa Koch, who is afraid of heights. During a gondola ride together, he unexpectedly spends a little more time with her and immediately feels drawn to the young woman. But Lisa is engaged and wants to get married soon. She and her future husband Christian Tamm want to go on a mountain tour under Hans' guidance to take away Lisa's fear of heights. But an accident happens and the bride-to-be falls and injures her leg. Tests at the hospital suggest the swelling is pinching important veins, nerves, and muscles. Martin urgently recommends an operation, but Lisa allows herself to be intimidated by her mother-in-law Elisabeth Tamm. The elegant, well-heeled lady sees the wedding planned in a few days and which she has organized at great expense in danger and urges the young woman to wait and see. Meanwhile, Hans is tormented by a guilty conscience. He feels responsible for Lisa's fall. And it gets even worse for him: If the expensive wedding fails, Ms. Tamm wants to sue him for damages. Lisa's leg is getting thicker and the pain worse - there is even a risk of amputation. Eventually, Martin is able to convince her to agree to the surgery. Because no ambulance is available for transport in the middle of the ski season, Martin drives her personally to the specialist clinic. But because of a roadblock, the two have to take a short cut and the car is hit by an avalanche out of nowhere. You can free yourself on your own, but you cannot call for help. When Lisa suddenly experiences severe abdominal pain, Martin is forced to act. He still has to perform the procedure on site, otherwise Lisa may not only lose her leg, but her life. And he is a person who meanwhile means more to him than is good for him.
