Highlights from a crucial weekend at the top and bottom of the Super League, as the 12 clubs continue to fight for position in the top eight and guarantee their Super League status for 2018.

League leaders Castleford have a six-point lead at the top of the table, and are looking to complete a hat-trick of victories against their local rivals Leeds Rhinos, who they face for the third time this season. Castleford won 66-10 when the teams first met in March, and were again victorious against the Rhinos at the magic weekend, but Leeds have re-established themselves as a Super League force in 2017 and will be looking to gain a crucial two points to maintain their position in the top four.

There are two big battles in the basement, as the bottom four teams in the League go head to head. Widnes take on Leigh and defeat for either team will push them further towards a place in the qualifiers, where they will face a fight for Super League survival. Both teams have endured difficult seasons, but Leigh's recent victory over Wigan, and Widnes's success against Leeds will have given them hope that they can climb out of the bottom four to safety.

The other two teams in the bottom four, Warrington and Catalans meet at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Hull FC face Wakefield, Huddersfield take on Wigan and St Helens are at home to Salford.
