I adore Missy Peregrym, but this show gives her absolutely no room to work. She's one note the entire time (super serious bordering on super depressed) and I know that's not the extent of her acting experience, it's just how they wrote the character. And all the other characters are exactly the same. They give them nothing to do besides have straight serious face. It is so boring. Forgive me if I like my procedurals with a dash of humanity in them...
It was refreshing to see Jeremy Sisto, but I keep seeing him as "the addict brother" (Green & Green Jewellers) from tv show ICE. If this serie uses the 1970's cop show basics (à la Hawaii Five-O where they catch the BAD guy at the end of EVERY episode...), they will lose a massive audience. It's like watching Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in 24 : after 2 seasons, all following seasons were too redundant, enough to make anyone suffer from "narcolepsy".
One and done, it was putting me to sleep, the usual formula, just change the titles and cast.
