2005 At the infection Disease Conference in DC, Eph meets with Jim Kent before going into a conference. Eph then addresses the guests about the recent SARS outbreak and how air transportation contributed to it. He explains that they'll have to expand their quarantine facilities, and Nora suggests that they focus on vaccine development. Eph dismisses it, noting that it will trigger a huge political fight.
