Three months prior to the events where season 1 left Tin and Can, the pair meet for the first time after Can carelessly bumps into Tin, spilling a red drink all over his shirt. Can insists on helping Tin clean up, much to Tin's chagrin. In the season two return, we find Ae left heartbroken as Pete has been forced by his father to leave the country. Pete ended his relationship with Ae to make their separation easier on Ae.
I feel like folks returning to this show after two years are going to be confused about this episode... but a couple of notes:
First, if you are living in a country with access to WeTV (or you have a convenient VPN) you can watch EP1 on WeTV starting 9/2/20. If you pay for VIP of WeTV you can access one episode ahead and watch EP2 starting on 9/2/20.
If you are outside of WeTV area you will have to wait for next week 9/9/20 to access EP1 on Viki streaming service.
Okay, now about the actual content... They switched up the timeline. After a quick opening scene, the remainder of the episode takes place before/during TinCan's first meeting. They even make a point to acknowledge that they don't know each others names. After 2 years of waiting after the season 1 finale, I kind of understand why they made this choice... but I definitely wasn't expecting it and was quite confused.
