Cancelled as expected, blah
This better not get cancelled!
Seriously? With COVID delaying everything and the future of renewal uncertain the writers leave every story line open? They not only didn't wrap any lines it seemed they opened more? For a season finale? And a possible series finale? Thanks Hollyweird ya got me again.
I SHOULD have dropped this series when the Powers That Be managed to run off the Showrunners and the main talent behind this. And the show clearly during the next two seasons suffered for this. As I understand it one of the showrunners was the same individual that came up with and ran "Dead Like Me". Onne of the best cable series ever. Then Hollywood ran him off that show and though quality stayed up we the viewers could all feel the loss. Quality "stayed up" not the same, as in a show that was a solid 10 now was an 8 and some episodes being a 7 even. American Gods hasn't even sustained that. It went from a solid 10 and dove straight to a mildly interesting 5. Dear Hollywood. Loyal viewers haven't hung on because the show remained good.
We hung on in vain hopes that some of the quality would come back after the stumble of running off the runners. Even should this get a renewal, after this season ender stunt not sure I want to keep watching and stay invested. Now... Where's my blurays of The Expanse? Ahh there. Time to binge a series that has stayed excellent through the whole series.
I have now come to the conclusion that this show is crap. Tries way to hard to be visually impressive and stylish, but fails on story and progression.
