Well, some enbi people prefer "ze" instead. Why does there need to be a new pronoun? Why are you so bent out of shape about it? Sounds like you're uncomfortable with gender non-conforming people in general. Non-binary people deserve representation. Weird hill for you to die on, bro, and not a good look for a supposed Trekkie/er. The Trek franchise has always been ahead of the curve with inclusivity.

God, I knew there would be someone like you. The need to compose not only the meaning to any given message but also what it doesn't mean so people wouldn't try to fill empty space with imaginary evil or wouldn't be able to find additional meaning is ridiculous. Therefore I need to be extremely thorough and wordy, so you wouldn't get sideways.

You don't know anything about me, not my gender or even sexuality, so don't call me bro, and don't make baseless assumptions just because your urge for social justice isn't fulfilled today.

"Non-binary people deserve representation."

And me wanting a new pronoun is not a representation? Like how?

"Weird hill for you to die on, bro, and not a good look for a supposed Trekkie/er."

What hill? What are you even talking about? Who are you talking to?

"Why does there need to be a new pronoun?"

You don't want non-binary people to have a new pronoun? You don't want non-binary people to have their own pronouns, the same privilege binary people are entitled to by birth?

Well, that means only one thing, if we use your failed thinking: "Why are you so bent out of shape about it? Sounds like you're uncomfortable with gender non-conforming people in general. Non-binary people deserve representation. Weird hill for you to die on, bro, and not a good look for a supposed Trekkie/er. The Trek franchise has always been ahead of the curve with inclusivity."

So. It would be nice if non-binary people have their own pronouns. I think logically and semantically wierd to call any singular being (Queen as well) (except if it's a hive-like being) by plural pronouns.

There are words that appear or change their meaning completely for a few decades. The writer John Milton alone is responsible for introducing 630 words, the language was fairly new, but there was not a lot of new environment in need of new words like it's now and further away. I mean we are talking about a show, which is a writers' piece. And no new pronoun for several thousand years seems like a linguistical anachronism. Especially considering that they come up with fairly a few technical neologisms, so they could not stop there and try to come with social neologisms as well.

"Sounds like you're uncomfortable with gender non-conforming people in general."

Sounds like your telepathy and logic fail you. Is that what your day looks like? You just go throw comments and for anything, that you can't get, presumes, that it's against something and pour out your aggression? You can just be honest about not getting something (you know, like a normal human being) and ask, like "Why, what are you talking about?", but no. You decided without any base to go straight to attacking me. And probably have the audacity to call yourself a Trekkie.

So, you, mister, owe me an apology in particular and all non-binary people in general for refusing non-binary people a new pronoun.

And by the way, it's enby, not "enbi".

Oh, for fuck sake, still with "they"? It's the 3189th year, couldn't they come up with new pronouns for non-binary genders by this time in the future?

I hope Ryn joins the crew. Trek has needed a cool Andorian regular since, forever.
