The Duffer Bros said in the interview couple of days ago that last 2 episodes are not done yet in post-production, they are still editing those, adding effects and everything, especially the last episode is like a movie 2 and half hours long so kinda makes sense that they split those last 2 episodes. episode 8 is hour and and half long and with episode 9 the longest in the whole series so far these last 2 episodes are combined 4 hours long, It will be worth the wait till July 1.
Makes sense. To keep the hype up. Business wise its a very good idea to do this then to release everything at once. And Netflix will be doing this more and more for their shows, and perhaps in the future even have an episode per week :)
I don't get why they split the season 7-2, it does not make sense.
this is the best episode and season by far. Now things are beggining to make clear was is really goin on.
just can`t wait for Volume 2 in July.
