very well articulated, fair balanced, and utterly true.
Not a bad start. Ewan is brilliant. The graphics are incredible for a tv show. Some old faces like The Grand Inquisitor and Bail Organa. Joel Edgerton as Owen was very solid. Sung Kang disappears into his role partially due to makeup and prosthetics but he's very present. The young actress as Leia is not great but kid actors are very hit and miss. the biggest problem is the ridiculous writing for Leia and this desire to unwrite canon and lore that disney seems insistent on doing in all of their properties. And Moses Ingram is absolutely stilted and embarassing as Reeva. Partly I'd imagine is her bad acting. But part is the cringe inducing writing for her character which a much better actor would be needed to make it not so eyerolling. Hopefully it improves.
